Refund policy

At 1944 Collectibles, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our military buckles, coins, and apparel. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.

1. Return Window

You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.

2. Custom & Personalized Items

Please note that Custom Orders (such as specific unit buckles or personalized challenge coins) are Final Sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or contain a manufacturing error. We encourage you to double-check all custom text and selections before placing your order.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Clearance."
  • Custom-made or personalized products (unless defective).
  • Gift cards.

4. How to Start a Return

To initiate a return, please email our support team at [Your Support Email Here] with the following information:

  • Order Number
  • The item(s) you wish to return
  • Reason for return (optional, but helps us improve!)

5. Damaged or Defective Items

If your collectible arrives damaged or there is a defect in the strike/print, please contact us immediately. Include a photo of the damage, and we will ship out a replacement at no cost to you or issue a full refund.

6. Shipping Costs

  • For Defective Items: We will provide a prepaid return label.
  • For General Returns: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

7. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your item, we will notify you of the status of your refund. If approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment (Credit Card, PayPal, etc.). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.

8. Lifetime Warranty on Belt Buckles

We build our buckles to last a lifetime. 1944 Collectibles provides a limited lifetime warranty on all belt buckles against manufacturing defects.

  • What’s Covered: Structural failures, manufacturing defects in the metal, or hardware malfunctions (such as the bar or prong breaking) under normal wear and tear.
  • What’s Not Covered: Lost items, theft, intentional damage, or cosmetic wear that occurs naturally over time (scratches, patina, or finish fading).
  • The Remedy: If your buckle fails due to a defect, we will repair it or replace it with the same design. If that design is no longer in production, we will offer a store credit for the original value.
